Outreach Activities
We integrate our research, teaching and outreach missions by discovering and conveying impactful advances in the understanding of structural biology and its interactions with the biochemical world around us. We aspire to build useful tutorials that illustrate the three-dimensional world of macromolecules and their functions.
We are integrating the gaming mentality in teaching Biochemistry – fun!, right? We are using the great tool Twine which allows you to create a text-based adventure story. Check it out and feel free to provide feedback! Link here

Students create movies using UCSF Chimera, and coming Fall 2018 – making these in UCSF ChimeraX to allow for VR rendering!
Check out our lab YouTube page for video uploads
We are also using this great tool called proteopedia.org as part of the Senior Project (CHEM4923) and illustrated by the examples below (static document followed by live link).
